positive experience. The quote came through promptly. The price was
completely reasonable; therefore I was comfortable to go ahead with the
service. The other point that I appreciated was that there were no large
hidden costs or taxes. It was up front. Definitely, I thought Scott was
professional and reliable. Unfortunately it is common to come across
businesses that are unreliable which I find potentially stressful and
frustrating. However, fortunately this was not the case with GCR. I
received prompt phone calls and emails regarding the service which got
things off to a good start. This was great as I was keen to get the move
organised. Scott was helpful, and I didn't feel any pressure to decide
on the spot as to what to do e.g. regarding the quote. He was always
clear with instructions and also as to my responsibility with the move.
He contacted me when he said he would. Once I agreed to go with GCR
Removals, I received an email invoice. All information was clear on
this. I requested if it was ok if I paid the following week as that was
my pay week. Scott was fine with this. Therefore I paid as soon as the
money came through. This flexibility was greatly appreciated. Yes, the
agreement to ring the day before picking up the furniture was much
appreciated. The staff did do this, and were able to give me an idea of
when they would be arriving the next day. They also gave me a call on
the day, an hour before hand to confirm their arrival. Again, this was
appreciated - obviously as moving can be hectic and stressful, and you
don't want to be waiting around at the property for a removalist for the
whole day when you could be getting other things sorted. The contracted
furniture removalists were friendly. They were careful with my
furniture, both in the property and in the truck. I paid extra to have
the furniture covered in plastic for the journey. They explained the
cost of the plastic before they arrived so I had time to decide as to
whether I wanted to do this. The removalists at the point of delivery
was also great. He phoned the day beforehand. He gave reliable
information as to where he was and when he would be arriving. He was
also professional, helpful and friendly. The furniture was in good
condition on arrival. Prompt and reliable service. No large hidden fees,
taxes etc. Quote was reasonable. Friendly and professional staff.
Furniture arrived within 10 days as specified. Thank you for being
